Last Summer my school gave me the opportunity to paint a mural in their glass gallery. It was a super fun project and I got to work with some really talented artists and see them create their own magnificent murals.
There were 9 murals in total and each mural had to represent a “ticket to success” told in the Columbia College hand book.
The theme I had chosen was ‘Support your Systems’ (exercise, eat right, wear a condom) So I created a bunch of little guys literally supporting a system. The final piece was in color and unfortunately I never got a chance to get a picture of it :( mega :(
About five months ago I was sitting inside Plazzio’s Pizza (for the record this might be the only time I have not ordered pizza from a pizza place) with RJ Casey of yetipress telling him about this idea for a book I had. The only sentiment I can really say about this whole learning process, is that it has been quite the adventure. Coincidentally I was creating this book during a very pinnacle point in my growth. I hope some of my mutation from graduate to,… whatever the hell I am now, translates to this book. I am excited to be presenting my book, “Rose from the Dead” through YetiPress this January. I really cannot wait to share it with everyone, especially all of you lovely faces that helped make this project possible by donating to the Kickstarter.
I will be posting updates as we get closer to the release day, so click that follow button if you haven’t already, we can go on this adventure together.
I’m not trying to pick you up I swear, I’m just sayin’, we could go on an adventure, and it would be really really rad.
